A standard OPT imaging package consists of a number of movies (3D movies, virtual section movies, and original projection images) of merged and unmerged (channel) data, plus png stacks of image files for selected movies (see table).
Movies shown are created with our in-house software that is only available through our scanning service.
Contact us for details of our bespoke service.
We have used both surface and volume rendering styles to produce our standard movies, and the OPT Imaging Package includes examples of each (see below).

Example 1 shows wholemount in situ hybridisation on a E10.5 mouse embryo with Sox-9 DIG labelled riboprobe visualised with Alexafluor 568 (Invitrogen) shown in red, followed by fluorescent immunohistochemistry using anitbodies to Pax-6 visualised with Alexafluor 488 (Invitrogen) shown in green.
Example 2 shows wholemount in situ hybridisation on a E12.5 mouse embryo with Sox-9 DIG labelled riboprobe, visualised with Alexafluor-568 (Invitrogen), shown in red.
Example 3 shows fluorescent immunohistochemistry on a E12.5 mouse embryo using monoclonal anti-neurofilament 160 (Sigma) visualised with Alexafluor 488 (Invitrogen) shown in green.
Example 4 shows fluorescent immunohistochemistry on a E12.5 mouse embryo using rat monoclonal anti-CD31 (Ab-cam) visualised with Alexafluor 568 (Invitrogen) shown in red.
