Viewing Your Results

Your results will normally be sent to you on CDs. One CD will have all your movies, and we suggest you start here. The other CDs will have high resolution PNG images (suitable for publictations) for each frame in the movies. The final CD will have Source data, which is your copy of the OPT scan.

In order to get the most from your results we recommend that you view 3D movies and virtual section movies side by side, stepping through each one frame at a time. In this way you can compare movies/images much more easily. Examples of screenshots below, please note these are not linked to the movies themselves.

Scrolling through the interactive movies allows you to look through large numbers of specimens in a matter of minutes.

Note that with our results you are getting images of the same specimen in three orientations; sagittal (x-z), frontal (y-z), and transverse (x-y), which is not possible with traditional histology techniques.
