These examples show the difference between the different signal rendering styles. Care should be taken when interpreting the information.

Fig 10a has been surface rendered resulting in the more solid appearance of the signal. Fig 10b however has been volume rendered. Surface rendered styles may give misleading results, as surface rendering makes no distinction between strong or weak signal. Volume rendered styles give a truer representation of the signal, as it shows the differences between strong and weak signal.
