In addition to producing the virtual sections and 3D images (2a, and 2b), we also produce the original optical projection images as mpg movies. A movie is produced for each channel scanned as illustrated in 2c-e above. Movie show specimens rotating through 360°, and are useful for getting an overall impression of the staining pattern.
